I am a Ph.D. candidate in the quantitative biology program at the University of Texas, Arlington. For my dissertation I use morphology, genomic data, and species distribution modeling to investigate the taxonomy, systematics, and phylogeography of the amphibians and reptiles of the Sunda Shelf with an emphasis on frogs in the genus Philautus.
I love travel, the tropics, and all things biodiversity. This has led to work on a wide variety of projects including bat and small mammal surveys in Colorado, invasive predators on Guam, and killifish in Trinidad. In my free time you will find me hiking, biking, bird watching, identifying fish in the local stream, and photographing the local wildlife. |
